MRVDA Twin Cities RV Super Show
This past weekend was the MRVDA Twin Cities RV Super Show at US Bank Stadium. For those that are not familiar with US Bank Stadium, it is the new Vikings stadium in Minneapolis. The Vikings have played 3 seasons in this stadium and stadium tours are still going strong.
The MRVDA show is cool because it is put on by the local dealers and is a great place for serious RV buyers to go. There is not a lot of “fluff” at this show. By “fluff” I mean RV gadgets, campgrounds, things like that. This show is for selling RVs.
One funny downside to this show was the electric shocks! Holy moly! I don’t know if it was because of the hard plastic flooring they put over the turf, or because we were in the middle of a polar vortex and the air was so dry, but wow could you get shocked anytime you touched something. I got such a good shock grabbing a handle on one of the campers that my finger went numb for a minute! It was really pretty funny.
I took note of a new modern camper at this show and it got me thinking… When people are in the market for an RV, are they more intrigued by modern or vintage? Vintage campers have been popular forever. Whether they are real vintage campers that have been fixed up or new campers made to look vintage. Are modern campers staging to take over? I took note of two campers in particular at this show. One was the very modern Evoke Model L with a black exterior and light minimalistic interior. The other was the Vintage 23RSS with a very retro vibe. Check them out below!

Ok, my final choice is the modern Evoke Model L, the kitchen is great! The vintage is really cute too, but that modern kitchen is a must! Would love to spend a day there, would be a lot of fun to see all the choices. Thank you 🙂

I love the vintage look but the modern is gorgeous! I would just love to get a new RV, and to be honest I would take either one! Looks like it was a great show!

I think I really love the vintage look. Sometimes the modern versions are just to “‘flashy”. I love the colors of the vintage ones also.

Events like these must be so fascinating to attend – checking out the latest and greatest. I have a feeling we will be attending shows like this in the near future. Not sure if purchasing one will ever happen, but I’m sure Hubby will want to explore and investigate.
